Does 1pc replace my accountant or tools like Xero?

1pc isn't an accounting package. You still need one for filing accounts and submitting tax returns. What 1pc does is handle the front-half of your business: leads, quotes, jobs, invoices, and expense capture.

When it's time to do your books, 1pc hands your accountant (or Xero, or your accounting software of choice) clean, tagged data. You stop doing double entry. Your accountant stops charging you for chaos.

How do I access 1pc?

Initial access is via the web app. Open it in the browser on your phone or laptop, no install needed. Native Android and iPhone apps are in development and scheduled for release in late 2026.

Is 1pc ready for Making Tax Digital?

Making Tax Digital for Income Tax is live now for sole traders with income over £50,000, and lands for the £30,000+ tier in April 2027. The hardest part of MTD isn't the submission. It's keeping clean digital records of your income and expenses all year, so you're not reconciling a shoebox in January. That's the part 1pc already handles.
